The Confederation of Meningitis Organizations (COMO) is dedicated to assisting member organizations to be sustainable, identifiable and influential sources for information and support services for those people affected by meningitis in their regions and united in their endeavors globally through their membership of COMO, which is committed to the elimination of meningitis and septicaemia.

Jamie Callahan

General Manager

 


Jamie was born in Monterey, California in 1974. Within a year she and her family moved to Carmel, Indiana. After graduating from Carmel High School in 1992, Jamie worked in a doctor's office. In November 1999, Jamie began employment opportunity with the Noblesville Fire Department.
In June 2000 Jamie contracted Ascetic/Viral Meningitis. She volunteered for the Meningitis Foundation of America because her nephew died from Pneumococcal Meningitis in October 1998, but wanted to get more involved with MFA.
Jamie began employment for MFA in November, 2001. As General Manager for MFA, she takes care of the daily operations and administrative duties. Her personal goal for MFA is to implement a nation wide support program for meningitis sufferers and their families.
